Senior Database Specialist Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end database migration initiatives including discovery, assessment, planning, and execution
• Develop detailed migration strategies, roadmaps, schedules, and rollback procedures
• Assess source and target database environments to identify compatibility issues and technical risks
• Select appropriate migration approaches such as rehosting, re-platforming, or refactoring
• Coordinate migrations between on-premises, cloud, hybrid, relational, and non-relational environments
• Minimize system downtime using replication, change data capture, and high-availability techniques
• Analyze legacy database structures, schemas, stored procedures, and triggers
• Translate source database structures into optimized target-state schemas
• Perform schema mapping and conversion across different database technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of industry-related experience
• Experience performing security engineering functions
• Experience developing and modifying scripts
• Experience mapping inheritance and Common Control Catalogs
• Experience developing or tuning Risk Scoring
• Ability to obtain security clearance
