Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design and analysis for geotechnical projects with minimal supervision
• Execute moderate to complex portions of multidisciplinary engineering assignments
• Collect, interpret, and correlate geotechnical investigation data
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, design drawings, and specifications
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
• Coordinate with structural, civil, environmental, and construction teams
• Provide technical support during construction and site inspections

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 8–15 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering
• Proven experience in both geotechnical design and construction/site supervision
• Strong understanding of contracts related to site investigations and construction works
• Experience on major infrastructure, transportation, marine, or industrial projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) registration
• Professional registration in Qatar, Bahrain, or the UAE
• Proficiency with software such as PLAXIS, Slope/W, or 3D FEM software
