Job description

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining digital records
  • Ensure 100% compliance with local UAE/GCC Labor Laws, including visa processing and MOHRE/freezone regulations
  • Manage the talent pipeline by sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires
  • Oversee monthly payroll processing, End of Service Benefits (EOSB) calculations, and medical insurance administration
  • Implement annual performance review cycles and drive local employee engagement initiatives
  • Collaborate with international teams to align local GCC operations with global business standards

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of progressive HR experience
  • 2–3 years of experience in a senior generalist or managerial role
  • Deep, practical knowledge of UAE Labor Law and regional GCC employment regulations
  • Proven experience in high-growth sectors such as Tech or FinTech
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficiency with modern HRIS platforms and localized payroll software
  • Must be based in the UAE or within the GCC region

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Arabic for navigating local government relations
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian labor frameworks (Qiwa, GOSI)
  • Experience working in a "team of one" or leading small operational HR teams
