Senior Insurance Forms Analyst

Responsibilities

• Draft, revise, and maintain base policy forms, endorsements, exclusions, and manuscript wordings
• Translate underwriting and product intent into precise, unambiguous policy language
• Build and maintain a library of standardized clauses and reusable endorsement language
• Analyze coverage intent to identify unintended grants, gaps, and overlaps
• Prepare and manage form filings with state departments of insurance via SERFF
• Ensure compliance with admitted and non-admitted (E&S) requirements
• Coordinate with legal, underwriting, claims, and technology teams to align wording with operational reality
• Maintain version control and documentation for all forms and endorsements
• Monitor regulatory changes and case law to proactively update wordings

Requirements

• 3+ years drafting or managing commercial lines policy forms, endorsements, or coverage wordings
• Strong grasp of commercial and personal lines coverages, ISO forms, and policy construction
• Familiarity with state filing processes and SERFF
• Exceptional written precision and ability to spot ambiguity in legal language
• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, English, Legal Studies, or a JD (or comparable experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• E&S / non-admitted experience
• Insurance designations such as CPCU
• Legal background in insurance coverage
