Senior Litigation Manager

Responsibilities

• Execute complex claim and litigation strategies through leading independent contributors and managers
• Manage multiple departmental relationships within a matrixed international insurance group
• Partner with Product, Legal, Actuarial, and Engineering teams to improve litigation data insights
• Source litigation data for the Claims organization in collaboration with Data Science
• Manage vendor portfolio for third-party legal services to drive cost goals
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and third-party audits
• Conduct monthly litigation file audits to evaluate work product
• Coordinate critical communications on litigated claims to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• BS/BA Degree
• 10+ years of experience in Claims Operations
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Subject matter expertise in Commercial General Liability claims and policy interpretation
• Experience with construction defect, large loss, and complex property damage/bodily injury claims
• Strong analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills
• Experience leading multiple distributed teams in a remote or hybrid environment
