Senior Machine Learning Engineer/MLOps

Responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between the Data Science team and the production environment
• Create, architect, and maintain large-scale Machine Learning systems and pipelines
• Ensure systems are efficient, scalable, and have low latency
• Manage the ML lifecycle including experiment tracking, feature store management, and model drift monitoring
• Define serving strategies (batch vs. online) and create inference APIs
• Build scalable pipelines and distributed processing using PySpark and Kafka

Requirements

• Software Engineering and System Design mastery (clean code, testing, design patterns)
• Experience with system architecture documentation (C4 Model)
• CI/CD pipeline creation for ML (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• MLOps expertise with Databricks (MLflow, Feature Store, Databricks Asset Bundles)
• Advanced containerization with Docker
• Data processing experience with PySpark, Spark SQL, and Apache Kafka

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Backend, DevOps, or SRE roles
• Experience with Generative AI and LLM integration (OpenAI, open-source models)
• Analytics Engineering experience with dbt and Delta Lake
• Multi-cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
