Senior Medical Scribe/Charting Virtual Assistant

Responsibilities

• Create accurate and comprehensive medical documentation during or after patient encounters
• Join phone calls with the Nurse Practitioner and patients to document symptoms and medical history
• Prepare patient notes by reviewing previous medical history and diagnoses before appointments
• Upload, organize, and maintain patient documentation securely in OneDrive
• Ensure all documentation practices align with HIPAA guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality

Requirements

• Senior-level experience as a Medical Scribe, Healthcare VA, or Nurse VA
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation
• Proficiency with OneDrive
• Ability to work part-time during mid to late afternoon PST
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to handle fast-paced workloads of 20–30 patients per day

Preferred Qualifications

• HIPAA Certification
• Experience with PointClickCare
• Previous experience supporting a Nurse Practitioner or medical professional
