Senior People Generalist

Responsibilities

• Act as a day-to-day partner for managers regarding team dynamics, coaching, and people questions.
• Lead employee relations matters including performance concerns, interpersonal friction, and accommodations.
• Own core people processes end-to-end, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and HR systems.
• Implement workflow automations and AI tools to create leverage across People functions.
• Manage the operational layer of performance cycles, including setup, timelines, and tracking.
• Drive employee engagement through survey administration, data analysis, and actionable insights.
• Build and maintain people dashboards and trackers to provide insight-led reporting.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist, HRBP, or hybrid People Ops role.
• Sound judgment in employment law and employee relations fundamentals.
• Proficiency with People Ops software stacks and strong analytical skills using spreadsheets.
• Experience supporting globally distributed teams across multiple regions and employment models.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools within an HR context.
• Strong written communication skills with experience building scalable documentation.
• Ability to work in a fast, iterative environment, moving from v1 to improved versions quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in gaming, social platforms, the creator economy, or VR/AR.
• A proven track record of fostering belonging across a diverse, global workforce.
• Personal interest in or experience using VRChat and social VR technology.
