Senior Pharmacy Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the pharmacy vendor portfolio including primary, backup, regional, and specialty partners
• Design and maintain vendor scorecards and lead business reviews against SLAs
• Build and maintain pharmacy cost models and track acquisition costs vs. budget
• Lead pricing benchmarking and identify COGS optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with clinical ops on formulary updates and titration protocols
• Own the end-to-end member experience for medication shipment SLAs
• Maintain knowledge of 503A vs. 503B regulatory distinctions and ensure compliance
• Manage inventory, capacity, and FDA shortage mitigation strategies

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in pharmacy operations or healthcare supply chain
• PharmD degree required
• Proven track record in pharmacy vendor relationship management and contract negotiations
• Hands-on experience with pharmaceutical cost structures and P&L modeling
• Experience with compounded pharmacy (503A or 503B) and USP compliance
• Strong analytical skills and ability to build data-driven models
• Ability to lead cross-functional work in a fast-moving, early-stage environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a telehealth, DTC pharmacy, or digital health company
• Familiarity with GLP-1 therapies, semaglutide, or tirzepatide supply dynamics
• Experience running vendor RFPs or negotiating pharmacy contracts
• Exposure to pharmacy data integrations
