Senior Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and own infrastructure systems end-to-end from design to production
• Write high-quality infrastructure code using Terraform, Helm charts, and CI/CD pipelines
• Take ownership of complex production incidents and drive blameless post-incident reviews
• Maintain high standards for scalability, resilience, and reliability
• Implement observability using metrics, structured logging, and actionable alerting
• Ensure infrastructure is version-controlled, reviewable, and follows IaC principles
• Design systems with security and compliance in mind (PCI-DSS, SOC 2)
• Partner with backend, data, and security engineers to align on shared patterns

Requirements

• Deep hands-on Google Cloud experience (GKE, Cloud SQL)
• Strong understanding of GCP networking and security models
• Strong Kubernetes skills and experience with container orchestration in production
• Proficiency with Terraform, Helm, and modern CI/CD tooling
• Experience with observability tooling such as Datadog
• Proven track record as a strong individual contributor
• Experience with Cloudflare is a bonus
