Responsibilities

• Refine insurance products based on market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis
• Define product roadmaps and work with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market
• Refine pricing models that balance risk and profitability
• Analyze claims data, model cat losses, and underwriting performance to refine pricing strategies
• Maintain and update underwriting guidelines and practices
• Conduct research to identify customer needs and market trends
• Ensure all products comply with non-admitted insurance regulations and company policies
• Track and monitor key performance metrics including conversion rate, quote cycle time, and profitability

Requirements

• 5+ years of insurance pricing or actuarial analytics experience in P&C or specialty lines
• Hands-on ownership of end-to-end rate indication processes
• Experience building pricing for new programs and sourcing benchmark loss costs
• Advanced Excel skills with experience building reusable tools and templates
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics
• Ability to communicate complex rate changes to diverse stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• ACAS designation or progress in actuarial exams
• Actuarial consulting experience
• Experience with both commercial and personal lines
• Comfort using AI-enabled tools like Claude for analysis and research
