Senior Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Shape the core product roadmap and long-term vision for the Chess.com experience to increase engagement and delight players.
• Partner deeply with engineering teams to define technical approaches, write crisp specifications, and drive execution through to delivery.
• Own and move key engagement metrics by using data to prioritize ruthlessly and running experiments.
• Operate in a high-velocity, asynchronous environment, using written communication to build alignment across a global team.
• Use AI tools to prototype, de-risk, and accelerate the development of new product ideas and flows.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in product management with a strong focus on consumer-facing products.
• Excellent product taste and an intuitive understanding of what makes a user experience rewarding.
• High-velocity written communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively in an asynchronous, remote environment.
• A passion for chess and a deep familiarity with the Chess.com product ecosystem.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product management.
• Technical fluency and the ability to have productive, deep conversations with engineering about systems and data.
• AI-native workflow, using AI daily to prototype and accelerate execution.
