About the Company

The European Payments Initiative is building Wero, a proudly European digital wallet designed to make payments easier, clearer, and more secure. Backed by 16 major banks and the two largest European acquirers, Wero is creating a new payment system for online, in-store, and cross-border transactions.

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate a compelling product vision and manage the strategic roadmap for the Wero mobile app.
• Drive product growth topics including onboarding, user activation, engagement, and retention.
• Prioritize features based on user behavior, data insights, and business impact to optimize conversion.
• Collaborate with member banks, developers, and designers to translate insights into actionable development tasks.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product management, ideally in fintech or payments.
• Proven experience developing and launching consumer mobile apps (iOS/Android).
• Fluency in English (C1/C2 level) is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the payment industry, regulatory requirements, and security standards.
• Proficiency in French, German, or Dutch.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
