Senior Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Work with state education department leadership to develop project scope, goals, deliverables, and schedules
• Anticipate risks and develop mitigation strategies across functional teams
• Interpret and document software requirements and enhancement requests from clients
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure client expectations are met
• Assign tasks to team members and manage subcontractors or vendors
• Provide guidance and mentorship for program managers and project coordinators
• Conduct project post-implementation meetings to document lessons learned
• Maintain quality standards and implement process improvements
• Conduct regular internal and external project meetings and deliver progress reports
• Participate in proposal development activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 6+ years of experience in Program Management or a related role
• Experience working directly with senior-level clients, government stakeholders, and educators
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Experience working in large-scale assessment or educational software
• PMP certification
