Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts for web, mobile, and backend systems
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using modern automation frameworks
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and API testing
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
• Mentor junior QA engineers and support knowledge sharing within the team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4–7 years of experience in software testing with exposure to both manual and automation testing
• Backbase certification (MUST)
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
• Solid experience in API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured
• Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools like Jira or TestRail
