Senior Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the mobile test strategy and evolve a pragmatic test pyramid for React Native
• Build and maintain reliable mobile E2E automation suites using Maestro
• Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions
• Use AI tools to accelerate test authoring, cluster failures, and surface coverage insights
• Partner with product and engineering teams on shift-left quality and defect prevention
• Use observability tools like Datadog, Sentry, and Grafana to close the loop on production issues

Requirements

• 6+ years in quality engineering or test automation
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Experience with Appium, device farms, or emulator/simulator orchestration
• Hands-on experience with Maestro or Detox
• Experience shaping CI/CD pipelines for test reliability
• Ability to operate independently and drive end-to-end improvements

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience testing React Native apps
• Experience with mobile performance and reliability (crash reporting, memory, battery)
• API and contract testing experience
• Native mobile fundamentals in Swift or Kotlin
• Experience introducing AI-assisted testing practices
