Senior React Native Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance React Native applications
• Deliver scalable, maintainable TypeScript code following engineering best practices
• Improve application architecture, performance, reliability, and developer experience
• Own React Native version upgrades, dependency management, and framework migrations
• Build, maintain, and debug native iOS modules using Swift and Kotlin
• Integrate native platform APIs into React Native applications
• Own automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Build reliable CI/CD pipelines and champion code quality through reviews and mentoring
• Optimize performance, memory usage, rendering, and application responsiveness
• Work closely with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and QA within a cross-functional pod

Requirements

• 6+ years building production React Native applications
• Experience supporting large-scale, consumer-facing mobile apps
• Expert knowledge of React Native architecture and performance optimization
• Strong TypeScript experience
• Strong Swift experience with the ability to build and debug native modules
• Kotlin or Android native development experience
• Experience managing React Native version upgrades and dependency updates
• Strong understanding of React state management (Redux, React Query, Zustand, or Context)
• Experience designing automated test suites using Jest, React Native Testing Library, or Detox
• Experience working with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs, and Postman

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building custom native bridges
• Experience publishing and supporting apps through Apple App Store and Google Play
• Experience supporting applications with millions of users
• Experience with monitoring and crash reporting tools like Firebase Crashlytics or Sentry
