Senior Software Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, optimization, and scaling of real-time data ecosystems and event-driven pipelines
• Design robust frameworks, governance standards, and APIs for self-service data infrastructure
• Evaluate emerging technologies and establish modern architecture standards like medallion architecture
• Provide technical direction and cross-divisional oversight for high-impact engineering projects
• Partner with product managers and engineering leaders during OKR planning and roadmap development
• Mentor engineering peers through design reviews, code standards, and security/privacy alignment
• Participate in system deployments, CI/CD best practices, and engineering on-call rotations

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in solutioning and architecture planning in multi-team environments
• 5+ years of experience designing scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient systems
• 5+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• 5+ years of experience building applications across web, mobile, voice, and APIs
• Expertise in designing real-time integrations and data-centric applications
• Proficiency in Node/TypeScript and Python
• Experience with Data Privacy and Compliance (GDPR, CPPA)
• Experience with version control systems like Git

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks (Apache Spark, Snowflake)
• Familiarity with Machine Learning architectures or distributed search engines (Elasticsearch)
• Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB
• History of contributing to open-source software projects
