Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

Responsibilities

• Contribute to quality assurance and product engineering across frontend and backend systems
• Build, maintain, and improve features with a strong testing mindset
• Identify edge cases, failure states, regressions, and potential user impact early
• Develop and maintain automated tests to improve coverage and release confidence
• Work with engineering and compliance teams to support regulatory requirements
• Investigate bugs and regressions to identify underlying implementation or process issues
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, test tooling, environments, fixtures, and mocks
• Participate in planning, technical decisions, code reviews, and releases
• Balance automation, exploratory testing, and pragmatic risk-based approaches

Requirements

• Strong TypeScript and React experience
• Strong TypeScript/Node.js backend experience including REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3)
• Experience with serverless infrastructure and IaC tools like Serverless Framework or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Storybook, Playwright, or Cypress
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and secure configuration management
• Experience building AI/LLM-powered product features
• Familiarity with Auth0/OIDC, analytics, and monitoring tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing healthcare or wellbeing applications with strong privacy requirements
• Experience working in regulated environments, particularly Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
