Responsibilities

• Build and enhance backend services, microservices, and APIs
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
• Optimize and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS or Azure
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging systems
• Integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8–10+ years of full-stack engineering experience
• Technical leadership experience in healthcare
• Experience in startup environments and thriving in ambiguity
• Experience working with remote and distributed teams
• Proficiency in designing robust APIs and secure, distributed microservices
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS) and services like EC2, Lambda, S3, Docker, ECS
• Extensive experience with modern programming languages such as Java or Python
• Hands-on experience with GitLab
• Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker
