Senior Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Design teams to translate customer pain points into high-performance product experiences
• Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of medium-to-large scale projects from design to deployment
• Identify technical debt and design scalable solutions for core platforms
• Mentor junior engineers through PR reviews and design discussions
• Lead by example in using LLMs and agentic tools to amplify speed and quality
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident responses

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Expert-level proficiency in Ruby or .NET/C#
• Deep understanding of scalable distributed systems
• Extensive experience with relational (SQL Server) and non-relational data modeling
• Advanced experience using LLMs and agentic tools in development workflows
• Ability to drive problems to completion with minimal oversight

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the cannabis industry or enterprise software (POS, Ecommerce, Payments)
• Experience with React and TypeScript
• Experience with AWS cloud-native infrastructure
• Experience introducing AI-assisted workflows to engineering organizations
