Senior Technician - Digital Delivery

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage 2D drawings and 3D digital models for infrastructure projects
• Develop and maintain comprehensive digital deliverables using industry-standard software tools
• Apply Level of Development (LOD) requirements and align with BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
• Perform rigorous quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) checks
• Collaborate with engineers, BIM leads, and cross-functional teams
• Conduct clash detection and coordination analysis using Navisworks
• Manage and update digital models and drawings based on revisions
• Support extraction of quantities and technical data from BIM models
• Maintain organized file structures and version control protocols
• Mentor junior technicians and support team members
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi and GCC authority standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 5–10 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure projects or BIM roles within GCC
• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Demonstrated experience with wet utilities and dry utilities
• Strong understanding of BIM processes and Level of Development (LOD) requirements
• Proven expertise in QA/QC procedures for digital and CAD deliverables
• Working knowledge of Abu Dhabi authorities such as TAQA, TPD, DMT
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in version control and file management

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Navisworks for clash detection
• Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDE) platforms
• Experience in multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of ISO-based workflows and digital delivery standards
• Exposure to project management tools and methodologies
• Experience mentoring or training junior technical staff
• Understanding of digital asset management and lifecycle documentation
• Familiarity with emerging technologies in digital delivery
