Job description
Responsibilities
- Produce and manage 2D drawings and 3D digital models for infrastructure projects
- Develop and maintain comprehensive digital deliverables using industry-standard software tools
- Apply Level of Development (LOD) requirements and align with BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
- Perform rigorous quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) checks
- Collaborate with engineers, BIM leads, and cross-functional teams
- Conduct clash detection and coordination analysis using Navisworks
- Manage and update digital models and drawings based on revisions
- Support extraction of quantities and technical data from BIM models
- Maintain organized file structures and version control protocols
- Mentor junior technicians and support team members
- Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi and GCC authority standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 5–10 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure projects or BIM roles within GCC
- Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- Demonstrated experience with wet utilities and dry utilities
- Strong understanding of BIM processes and Level of Development (LOD) requirements
- Proven expertise in QA/QC procedures for digital and CAD deliverables
- Working knowledge of Abu Dhabi authorities such as TAQA, TPD, DMT
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in version control and file management
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Navisworks for clash detection
- Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDE) platforms
- Experience in multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of ISO-based workflows and digital delivery standards
- Exposure to project management tools and methodologies
- Experience mentoring or training junior technical staff
- Understanding of digital asset management and lifecycle documentation
- Familiarity with emerging technologies in digital delivery
