Senior Workday Security Administrator

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, release, and hypercare
• Provide expertise in security architecture, ensuring appropriate access controls, data privacy, and regulatory compliance across HCM, Financial, and Payroll modules
• Maintain a strong business perspective to ensure systems support operational goals and user needs
• Collaborate across multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and stakeholder expectations
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineering team members
• Continuously evaluate new Workday features and third-party technologies to propose enhancements

Requirements

• 5+ years of Workday security administration experience
• Mastery of creating, maintaining, and auditing security groups
• Proficiency in configuring ISUs/ISSGs and domain/business process security policies
• Strong knowledge of authentication policy, SAML SSO, MFA, OAuth 2.0, and IP restriction
• Experience ensuring least-privileged access aligned with compliance requirements
• Skilled in supporting bi-annual Workday platform releases and regression testing
• Ability to support internal controls audits through report generation and evidence production
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday Business Process configuration experience
• Experience with Workday implementation tools like EIB and Customer Central Management
• Experience building and securing custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields
• Workday Pro Certification
• Master's Degree in a relevant field
