SEO Content Specialist

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize high-quality, SEO-driven content such as landing pages and blog articles
• Own the execution of the editorial calendar and publishing plan
• Monitor and improve content performance by tracking key metrics and refreshing existing pages
• Apply SEO best practices and identify opportunities to improve content quality and workflows
• Collaborate with the local SEO team to align on priorities and growth targets
• Support keyword research, competitor analysis, and content production
• Contribute local market insights and user trends to inform content decisions
• Stay informed on evolving search trends, including AI-powered platforms like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews

Requirements

• Proven experience in SEO content writing or content marketing
• Native Arabic speaker with strong understanding of regional dialects
• Business-level English proficiency
• Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
• Experience with editorial planning and publishing via a CMS
• Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals including keyword optimization and user intent
• Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs or Semrush is a bonus
• Experience using web analytics tools to measure content performance
• Deep understanding of local cultural and linguistic nuances in the MENA market
