SEO Generalist

Responsibilities

• Identify relevant external websites and publishers for link-building and brand-mention opportunities across the Arabic/MENA web
• Build and run campaigns to earn Canva citations in AI answer engines and high-authority sources
• Reclaim unlinked brand mentions and pursue placements on reputable Arabic media and reference sites
• Monitor Canva's visibility in AI answers for priority Arabic queries
• Support the creation, optimization, and publication of SEO-driven content in Arabic
• Partner with Country SEO Leads and regional marketing teams to support broader SEO initiatives
• Experiment with emerging AI tools to improve outreach workflows and scale impact

Requirements

• Native Arabic speaker with strong understanding of regional dialects
• Business-level English proficiency
• Experience in link building, digital PR, or content marketing
• Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console, or Screaming Frog
• Experience working with CMS platforms and structured content briefs
• Ability to build authentic relationships with publishers and creators
• Growth mindset and proactive approach to user experience
