Social Media & Content Intern

Responsibilities

• Write engaging captions, carousel copy, and short-form scripts for Reels and YouTube Shorts
• Own the monthly social media calendar across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Manage community engagement by responding to comments and DMs across all platforms
• Identify cultural trends and moments relevant to the NRI diaspora to drive engagement
• Track weekly performance metrics and provide actionable insights on content effectiveness

Requirements

• Currently completing or recently finished a degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
• Exceptional copywriting skills with a clean, witty, and concise writing style
• Deep understanding of NRI culture, personal finance, or the experience of Indian diaspora living abroad
• Proficiency with Instagram and YouTube formats and trends
• Ability to analyze performance data and form a strategic point of view from the numbers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Canva or CapCut for content creation
• Basic video editing skills
