Job description

Responsibilities

  • Own frontend projects end-to-end, from scoping through to production, across payment surfaces and merchant-facing tooling.
  • Lead architectural decisions on frontend systems, contributing to design sessions and producing RFCs and ADRs.
  • Build UI that is composable, performant, and adaptable.
  • Monitor production impact using metrics and dashboards to proactively catch and resolve issues.
  • Maintain a high quality bar for code and contribute to incident response when necessary.
  • Share knowledge actively to raise the quality and confidence of the engineering team.

Requirements

  • Solid frontend engineering experience with a track record of delivering production-grade work.
  • Extensive experience with TypeScript and knowledge of web components.
  • Ability to scope, plan, and execute complex projects independently.
  • Strong understanding of building accessible, performant, and maintainable UI at scale.
  • Ability to contribute to architecture discussions and clearly articulate technical trade-offs.
  • Experience writing clean, well-tested code and communicating effectively in async-first environments.
