Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead global supplier and category strategies for finished goods, specifically focusing on Hand Tools (Hardlines and Screwdrivers)
  • Manage direct material spend of approximately $50M to drive sourcing productivity and cost reduction
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key global suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met
  • Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, service level agreements, and price adjustments
  • Lead the supplier selection process through formal RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes
  • Drive program management for core initiatives in productivity, working capital, and supplier performance
  • Utilize modern purchasing tools such as eRFQ, eAuctions, and Should Costing to create TCO value

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5-10 years of experience in Global Procurement or Strategic Sourcing organizations
  • Minimum 5 years of category strategy or material field strategy experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, and Smartsheet
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex sourcing and procurement strategies
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, multi-cultural matrix environment
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally 10–20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain
  • Certifications such as CPIM, CSCMP, PMP, or Six Sigma/Lean/Kaizen
  • Multi-lingual capability
