Spanish/English Translator

Responsibilities

• Provide written translation and live interpretation during meetings with foreign stakeholders
• Translate minutes, reports, and formal letters
• Answer language-related queries and assist service users requiring language support
• Cooperate with other volunteers on ad hoc projects

Requirements

• C1 or higher proficiency in English and Spanish
• 2+ years experience as a Translator/Interpreter
• Experience providing virtual interpretation on digital platforms
• Ability to translate both ways (English to Spanish and Spanish to English)
• Strong written communication, editing, and proofreading skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Basic knowledge of Trello and Microsoft Teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or training in Languages or Communications
• Knowledge of climate change, climate finance, or blockchain technology
