Specialist Cardiac Anesthesia

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert anesthesia services for complex cardiac surgeries, including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repairs, and heart transplants
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative patient assessments and devise tailored anesthesia plans
• Provide anesthesia administration and continuous intraoperative monitoring during intricate procedures
• Manage postoperative care and ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, cardiologists, and nursing staff

Requirements

• Board certification or equivalent qualification in Cardiac Anesthesia
• Comprehensive knowledge of cardiac physiology, pharmacology, and advanced monitoring techniques
• Exceptional skills in patient assessment, anesthesia planning, and intraoperative management
• Ability to perform under pressure and respond adeptly to surgical emergencies
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective multidisciplinary collaboration
