Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide spectrum of oral and maxillofacial conditions
• Perform complex surgical procedures including trauma management, corrective jaw surgery, and oncology surgery
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
• Conduct outpatient clinics and manage inpatient care with a focus on patient safety
• Participate in the training and mentoring of junior medical staff and medical students
• Ensure strict adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and government health regulations

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited residency program
• Board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
• Proficiency in a wide range of complex oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
• Experience working within government or public hospital settings preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration
