Sr. Healthcare Data Scientist (Medicare/Medicaid)

Responsibilities

• Analyze Medicare and Medicaid claims data using statistical and machine learning techniques
• Develop generative AI–powered solutions and agent-based systems to enhance fraud detection
• Build predictive and anomaly detection models to improve program integrity outcomes
• Identify opportunities to leverage large-scale CMS data with modern AI/ML methods including LLMs and vector databases
• Present findings to technical and non-technical leadership

Requirements

• Bachelors degree with an analytical or technical focus (Statistics, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Science
• Minimum 2 years of experience conducting advanced analyses of Medicare and/or Medicaid data
• Proficiency in R or Python for data science
• Experience with data science packages such as Pandas, NumPy, Tensorflow, Scikit learn, or Matplotlib
• Familiarity with SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, and Spark
• Hands-on experience with generative AI technologies like LangChain, LangGraph, or Hugging Face Transformers
• Understanding of statistics and analytic model development principles
• Ability to create data visualizations to illustrate trends
