Sr. IT Systems Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, and systems operations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Provide technical leadership for the design and governance of hybrid/multi-cloud environments, networking, and identity systems.
• Drive automation-first approaches to reduce operational overhead and enhance system reliability.
• Own the availability, reliability, and performance of enterprise-wide services and infrastructure.
• Partner with Security, Engineering, and Finance leaders to align technology investments with business priorities.
• Manage vendor relationships and strategic technology partnerships to maximize operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering, infrastructure operations, or cloud technologies.
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing technical teams, including managing managers.
• Deep expertise in Linux/Unix systems administration and modern infrastructure architectures.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms, automation, networking, and observability.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive leadership.
• Demonstrated success in executing technology strategy within complex enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing enterprise environments across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration management.
• Experience implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or platform engineering functions.
• Knowledge of enterprise security frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing budgets and strategic technology investments.
