Sr. Manager, Field Engineering UAE

Responsibilities

• Hire, mentor and grow the pre-sales team for the UAE market
• Build a motivated collaborative culture within a hyper-growth team
• Support increased return on investment of SA involvement in sales cycles
• Ensure a solution and value-based selling within the field-engineering organization
• Engage with key customer executives to build and strengthen strategic partnerships
• Display an understanding of needs and revenue potential for accounts in the assigned region
• Align with partners and internal services to secure implementation strategies
• Build Databricks' brand as a member of the Leadership team

Requirements

• Experience managing a team of successful Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS professionals
• Experience in consumption based business environments
• Experience mentoring and scaling technical teams
• Technical or consulting background in Data Engineering, Database technologies or Data Science
• Strong communication skills
• Experience dealing with clients in UAE
• Fluency in Arabic and English
