Job description

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day operation, configuration, and optimization of platforms powering subscriptions, messaging, consent, analytics, identity, and monetization
  • Configure subscription and monetization flows in platforms like Piano, including paywalls, registration, and entitlement logic
  • Manage audience engagement and lifecycle messaging in platforms like Braze, including segmentation and campaign setup
  • Build and troubleshoot integrations across Braze, Piano, CMS, identity platforms, and automation tools like Zapier
  • Translate business and legal requirements into platform configurations, implementation plans, and QA steps
  • Partner with engineering on APIs, webhooks, and data-layer requirements
  • Maintain analytics and consent-management implementations using Google Tag Manager and other tracking tools

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product operations, technical product management, or MarTech/subscription operations
  • Experience configuring and operating third-party SaaS platforms for subscriptions, messaging, or analytics
  • Background in subscription, membership, or direct-to-consumer business models
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation, CRM, or lifecycle messaging platforms
  • Working knowledge of subscription flows, including checkout, renewals, and billing touchpoints
  • Strong understanding of digital analytics, event instrumentation, and tagging strategies (e.g., Google Tag Manager)
  • Experience with workflow integrations using APIs, webhooks, or low-code tools like Zapier
  • Experience with consent management platforms and user privacy workflows
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with Braze or Piano
  • Experience in media, publishing, or digital news industries
  • Experience supporting mobile subscription flows via Apple App Store or Google Play
  • Experience with CDPs or data warehouses like Segment, Snowflake, or BigQuery
  • Ability to perform technical troubleshooting including API and webhook testing
  • Experience supporting A/B testing and conversion optimization efforts
