Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage pipeline and end-to-end sales process for Issuing Solutions in UAE, focusing on both new and existing revenue streams.
  • Actively prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, issuer needs, open banking, real-time payments, regulatory changes, and operational challenges.
  • Develop and demonstrate knowledge of Visa's solutions, especially in Risk, Identity, Network, Digital, and Loyalty.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity records in Microsoft Dynamics; provide market trend and competitive insights.
  • Identify and build relationships with high-potential clients and key decision-makers.
  • Ensure client/prospect satisfaction through insights and regular engagement.
  • Collaborate with Generalist Sales and prepare proposals, presentations, and other client-facing collateral highlighting Visa capabilities.
  • Create and execute issuer-focused sales strategies aligned with Visa’s purpose.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Client Services, Finance, and Technology for optimal client experience.
  • Contribute to sales collateral design and general marketing efforts for greater awareness of Value Added Services objectives.
  • Drive and achieve sales targets for Issuing VAS Solutions—Loyalty, Risk, Identity, and future offerings.
  • Acquire new clients and retain/grow existing ones in partnership with product teams.
  • Understand client challenges and leverage Visa technology to provide impactful solutions.
  • Lead and champion Visa’s value-based sales methodology, post-sale commercialization, and mutual success planning.
  • Collaborate with Product and Sales Engineering on proposals and market feedback.
  • Identify, qualify, and quantify market-specific opportunities with local teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, or 11+ years relevant work experience.
  • Experience in sales, preferably managing sales pipelines for payment, fintech, or banking/financial services sectors.
  • Strong sales, technical, and time management skills.
  • Ability to achieve targets with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 9+ years relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s, or 7+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, PhD).
  • Strong knowledge of payment processing and issuer value-added services (Fraud, Risk, Loyalty, Network, Digital).
  • Experience in card issuer/banking/fintech/payment sectors.
  • Expertise in selling within the UAE, including VisaNet story.
  • Proven negotiation skills and business development experience.
  • Familiarity with multicultural work environments, particularly within GCC region.
