Sr. Strategic Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational strategy and day-to-day management of Carrot Rx, including pharmacy partnerships, reimbursement strategy, and program governance
• Develop and support Carrot's claims-based billing strategy in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Finance
• Manage relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, specialty pharmacies, PBMs, and health plans
• Support payer integrations, reimbursement methodologies, and claims adjudication strategies
• Develop financial models, business cases, and operational reporting to support executive decision making
• Analyze reimbursement, utilization, and pharmacy performance to identify cost optimization opportunities
• Partner with Commercial teams on customer implementations, RFPs, and strategic customer opportunities
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare strategy, payer operations, reimbursement, pharmacy, or healthcare analytics
• Experience working with health plans, employer-sponsored benefits, or pharmacy benefit programs
• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting claims-based billing or payer integration initiatives
• Knowledge of fertility benefits, reproductive healthcare, or PBM
• Familiarity with CPT, HCPCS, and diagnosis coding
• Proficiency with SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Looker
• Experience working with pharmaceutical manufacturers or specialty pharmacies
