Staff Engineer, Consumer Foundations

Responsibilities

• Own and architect the systems behind consumer applications, including patient data modeling and storage
• Define strategy for critical data flows with a focus on accuracy and auditability
• Ship features for pricing, cost-estimation, and shoppable services
• Partner with product and engineering leads to align roadmaps and technical tradeoffs
• Direct and level up the engineering team while maintaining a high bar

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience, primarily in Python
• Experience building systems and services for consumer products
• Experience in early-stage or high-growth startup environments
• Proven track record of driving outcomes on high-stakes, company-critical problems
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• Excellent communication skills for presenting to peers and executives
