Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Embed in key initiatives or pods and ship meaningful product features using advanced engineering practices
• Design, build, and ship features end-to-end, from problem definition through production
• Use AI as a core part of your workflow, including writing specs, generating code, and evaluating outputs
• Practice and model augmented coding while maintaining high standards for code quality and system design
• Contribute across the full stack, including Node, TypeScript, React, SQL, and cloud-native services across AWS and GCP
• Own production systems, including observability, reliability, deployments, and on-call responsibilities
• Influence technical direction within your pod and contribute to broader engineering improvements

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Deep fluency in a modern typed web stack (Node, TypeScript, React, and SQL preferred)
• Strong systems thinking and architectural judgment
• Experience owning services end-to-end (build, deploy, monitor, on-call)
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP
• Significant experience using AI tools to improve development workflows
• Proven track record of mentoring and influencing without authority

Benefits

• Salary Range: $170,000 - $195,000
• 4-Day Work Week (32 Hour Work Week)
