Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver functionality by developing working software and ensuring reliable solutions
• Pair with customer developers and military service members to teach agile practices like TDD and continuous delivery
• Champion AI-augmented ways of working to accelerate delivery and reduce cycle time
• Teach the "why" behind design thinking, paired programming, and backlog management
• Build and test software solutions that meet user needs, business objectives, and stakeholder vision

Requirements

• Active DoD security clearance
• 10+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Ruby, or Elixir
• Experience with Spring Boot, React.js, Vue, or Redux
• Experience with container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools (Git, GitLabCI, SonarQube, etc.)
• Strong understanding of algorithms, databases, and design patterns
• Experience with both frontend and backend development
• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• U.S. Citizenship

• Experience in training, mentoring, or up-skilling engineers
• Experience developing cloud-native applications
• Experience leading a product or development team
• Experience working directly with clients
• Experience with DoD "Software Factories"
