Job description

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality inputs, labels, and annotations on statistics projects using proprietary software
  • Support training of AI models on human interactions, problem-solving, and discussions
  • Collaborate with technical staff to refine annotation tools and implement new tasks
  • Select and create challenging statistics problems in areas such as probability theory, inferential statistics, regression modeling, Bayesian methods, and experimental design
  • Evaluate model responses and provide detailed solutions

Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD in Statistics, or Mathematics with statistics/probability specialization; or medal in International Math Olympiad, International Statistical Olympiad, or similar competition
  • Proficiency in reading and writing professional and informal English
  • Strong ability to navigate information resources and databases
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Solid reading comprehension and capacity for autonomous judgment with limited data
  • Passion for technological advancements and innovation

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Statistics or closely related quantitative field
  • Peer-reviewed publications in statistics, probability, or applied statistical modeling
  • Previous AI Tutoring or college-level statistics teaching experience
