Stormwater Construction Estimator

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify comprehensive cost estimates and bid packages for stormwater construction projects
• Manage and develop a group of estimators working on stormwater-related construction bid packages
• Review deficiencies identified by personnel to generate proposal opportunities
• Meet client deadlines for proposal development and submission
• Work closely with growth teams on new client work development
• Contact regulatory authorities to discuss aspects of violations
• Develop material pricing databases for bidding purposes
• Create bid takeoffs to determine quantities for bidding
• Participate in a culture of safe work practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• 4+ years of experience as an Estimator for construction, stormwater, utilities, erosion control, or excavation/grading projects
• High-level comprehension of construction processes and materials
• Ability to read site plans and develop cost estimates efficiently
• Proven track record of maintaining relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Valid driver's license and good driving history

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with estimating software
• Experience with Deltek Vision
