Supply Chain Manager - Asset and Inventory

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a long-term Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) to optimize lifecycle costs and maintenance
• Define strategic objectives and stakeholder requirements for asset management
• Document the asset portfolio and develop summaries of assets under management
• Translate SAMP objectives into actionable operational plans and establish the Asset Management System Framework
• Develop tools to monitor and report KPIs such as OEE, downtime, reliability, and utilization
• Own and maintain the company’s asset management system (AMS) ensuring accurate equipment records
• Standardize workflows for asset data capture and lifecycle management in ERP systems
• Oversee the full equipment lifecycle including acquisition, allocation, utilization, and disposal
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective inventory control systems to ensure optimal stock levels
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits to investigate discrepancies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Formal certification in asset management (e.g., IAM or equivalent)
• 7+ years of proven experience in asset and inventory management
• Experience with technical or field equipment (seismic, geophysical, or energy sector preferred)
• Strong experience developing strategic asset management plans and governing AMS
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
