Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with startups in the Sustainability Innovation Programs to define, monitor, and evaluate approaches to impact measurement.
  • Foster a culture of impact accountability and build capacity within portfolio startups to measure and communicate their contributions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Contribute to the design and development of impact measurement strategies, tools, and frameworks, identifying company-specific key performance indicators.
  • Develop and operationalize frameworks for assessing environmental, social, and financial impacts of portfolio startups.
  • Develop and implement data collection tools and systems; manage and maintain databases with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Lead the evaluation and analysis of impact data, creating relevant metrics and indicators to track progress and performance over time.
  • Prepare data-driven reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, effectively translating impact metrics into actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in impact measurement, monitoring, and evaluation in non-profits, financial institutions, consultancies, or impact-driven sustainability startups.
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Environmental Studies, or a related quantitative/policy discipline.
  • Experience with data tracking management and related processes.
  • Proven ability to present complex impact data in visual, intuitive formats.
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects and aligning partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional, globally distributed teams; excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset.
  • Fluent in English and at least one regional language.
