Systems Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Act as first responder for the OS team performing preliminary troubleshooting
• Manage ticket queues and document resolution steps and histories
• Assist in escalated incidents and provide solutions within the ticketing system
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation
• Expand and improve existing services
• Consult and advise on internal and customer environments
• Maintain, migrate, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot advanced environment OS configurations

Requirements

• 3-5 years of work experience with Microsoft server platforms and integrations
• Citrix administration experience including VDA, Storefront, and Delivery Controllers
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025 platforms
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, SQL Server, DNS, Ports, and Windows Firewall
• Experience supporting environments on VMware ESXi, Azure, or AWS
• Strong troubleshooting methodology and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RMM tools such as HCL BigFix, SolarWinds N-able, or ConnectWise Automate
• Windows Server Certifications (MCITP, MCP)
• Netscaler experience
• Experience with monitoring tools like SolarWinds, ScienceLogic, or Zabbix
