Technical Accountant

Responsibilities

• Provide US GAAP guidance across the organization to support scaling finance infrastructure
• Research complex accounting standards and draft technical memos and position papers
• Navigate new transactions, structures, and reporting requirements with clarity
• Cover diverse areas including equity, stock-based compensation, revenue recognition, and leases
• Partner directly with the Financial Controller, Legal, FP&A, and external auditors
• Translate complex accounting positions into actionable guidance for non-accounting stakeholders

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP (including ASC 606, 718, 842, 805, and 360)
• Demonstrated experience researching and defending technical accounting memos
• Experience building or contributing to an internal controls environment
• Active CPA, ACA, or ACCA qualification
• Big 4 or public accounting background

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience at a pre-IPO or recently public technology company
• Experience with S-1 readiness and PCAOB audits
• Familiarity with multi-entity consolidated reporting, FX accounting (ASC 830), and intercompany eliminations
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems
