UX Engineer

Responsibilities

• Polishing the UX and fixing small papercuts to ensure high quality
• Building complex UI components like taxonomic filters and date-time pickers
• Creating and maintaining a design system and component library
• Using AI tools to augment workflow and automate mundane tasks
• Iterating quickly based on user feedback loops

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of React (Next.js or Remix preferred)
• Mastery of Tailwind CSS and browser support nuances
• Proven ability to build beautiful, functional interfaces (portfolio/Dribbble/Twitter)
• Strong understanding of design principles like typography, whitespace, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to work across the stack using AI tools when necessary
• High velocity shipping mindset
