Vertiport Charging Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Inspect GSE installations and oversee commissioning activities to ensure safe operation
• Support design validation reviews and installation inspections for vertiport MEP systems
• Implement and oversee routine GSE inspections, upkeep, and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose downtime issues, perform rapid on-site fixes, and escalate to OEMs when necessary
• Internalize servicing and repair tasks to minimize reliance on external OEM support
• Build internal repair capability and documentation to improve long-term reliability
• Prepare weekly reports on GSE utilization, downtime, repair times, and maintenance needs
• Extend technical workstreams into general MEP systems to reduce external contractor dependency

Requirements

• Strong MEP engineering background with hands-on experience in electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Proven experience servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy-duty MEP equipment
• Ability to work effectively in operational environments with live equipment
• Experience building technical processes, documentation, and internal capabilities from the ground up
• Ability to be based in Dubai with a requirement to travel to regional and international locations
