Virtual Intervention Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support educational and behavioral goals for students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Work cooperatively with classroom teachers to modify curricula and implement intervention strategies
• Conduct diagnostic and functional behavior assessments
• Write and implement behavior improvement plans
• Facilitate IEP meetings and write goals and objectives
• Integrate culturally responsive teaching practices into daily lessons
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth

Requirements

• Current state Intervention Specialist License
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards
• Experience in full room inclusion or Co-Teaching models
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
• Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks (FBI/BCI)
• Resident of Ohio
