3D Concept Designer (Truck Exterior) - 2-Month Contract

Responsibilities

• Lead exterior concept design for a truck proof-of-concept
• Produce high-quality 3D models ready for prototype-grade manufacturing (POC level)
• Create detailed photoreal renderings showcasing surfaces, lines and proportions
• Deliver clean files and organized assets for engineering and production teams
• Work independently to meet tight 2-month milestones and iterate quickly based on feedback

Requirements

• Strong 3D modeling and rendering skills
• Experience with transportation, automotive, or industrial design
• Ability to produce prototype-ready exterior designs
• Proficiency in tools such as Blender, Rhino, SolidWorks, KeyShot, Maya, or Fusion 360
• Strong portfolio showing vehicle, product, or tech hardware design
• Ability to hit deadlines and work autonomously in a fast sprint

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering or automotive background
• Experience preparing files for prototype manufacturing and engineering handoff
• Previous work on vehicle exterior concepts or related industrial design projects
